On Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m., City Council is set to meet to vote on amending the STRO implementation date to allow for full review and certification from the California Coastal Commission. If passed, this would extend the implementation date from July 1, 2022 to a date no later than nine months from the California Coastal Commission review.
SD STRA is supportive of amending the STRO implementation date to allow for ample time to provide clarity around remaining questions as well as to avoid the peak travel season of the summer. We have voiced our support of this to City Council and encourage you to as well.
