UPDATE: SB 584 Postponed
Thanks to your efforts in reaching out to state representatives and advocacy efforts from SDSTRA and other organizations across the state, SB 584 is postponed for 2023!
What’s Next for SB 584:
Our board leadership has not let up. We have engaged with the media and our California state senators to prepare us all for what this might look like. While this is great news, SB 584 will be eligible to be heard in January 2024 should the sponsor decide to push it forward. SDSTRA will continue to monitor SB 584 and keep you updated. Please consider joining SDSTRA to help us continue fighting any bills that may harm California hosts.
Stay Involved:
It’s critical that we remain vigilant about local and state regulations coming down the pipeline. SDSTRA could not advocate without the support of the local short-term rental community. Your continued involvement, support, and membership help us continue to fight and advocate on both a state and local level.
